Final Evaluation of the UN Women Project Protecting the Rights of Women Migrant Workers in ASEAN
We executed the regional Asia-Pacific evaluation of the UN Women Project Protecting the Rights of Women Migrant Workers in ASEAN. The multi-million dollar project focused on generating knowledge on how women are impacted by government migration policies, and provided capacity development support to ASEAN governments and institutions. The project also provided support to civil society organisations working in women’s economic migration and to women migrant workers. The evaluation used an utilisation-focused approach that drew heavily on stakeholder participation and feminist evaluation principles, and included case studies in Myanmar and Thailand.
